PROJECT NAME: Adamstown Castle Lucan
CLIENT: Castlethorn Construction & South Dublin County Council
CONSTRUCTION PERIOD: Nov 2004 – June 2006
Castlethorn Construction in conjunction with South Dublin County Council have comprised a plan to develop a huge area (approx. 750 acres) a new district of Dublin comparable with a town the size of Mullingar. Adamstown Castle is Phase 1 of the largest housing development project to occur in the country.
Scope of works:
SM Morris Ltd. had been appointed the contract to complete the earthworks section of the development for Phase 1 initially with the option of further works in the future. This contract entailed:
- all drainage
- road construction
- services
- road widening to existing road
